Far Flung Adventures’ Texas River Music Series started in 1983 as three day rafting trips on the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park, where one of our favorite entertainers joins us for 3 great days on the river, gourmet meals, and private evening performances in an incredible setting. We first hosted Steven Fromholz, and soon after Butch Hancock, Jerry Jeff Walker, Peter Rowan, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and many others over the years.
In Fall of 2021, Texas River Music launches its next season of musical adventures in the Big Bend of the Rio Grande. Same rules apply: Comfortable, fully guided adventure in beautiful surroundings. Feast on the Flood cuisine. Intimate musical performances by incredible artists in the middle of nowhere.
